The best place for a hurt, orphaned  hummingbird is with a rehabber, but sometimes you can't find one right away.  Sometimes you need immediate advice.  Hopefully these tutorials will help.
How to determine if a nest has been abandoned.
How to re-nest fallen chicks or correct a nest that is not level or intact.
How to take care of a bird that you find after hours, until you can reach a rehabber.
